Brock University, generally referred to simply as Brock, is a comprehensive university located in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Brock offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral
degree programs that include co-op and other experiential learning opportunities. The university was founded in 1964. Brock University is rated one of the top universities in Ontario
with professional staff and students. Located at the center of Canada's Niagara Peninsula on the Niagara Escarpment in St. Catharines, Ontario, Brock University is the only Canadian
university that is part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The university is increasingly being recognized for its research, being placed among Canada's leading academic institutions.
Location & Facilities
Brock University also maintains a campus in the city of Hamilton, Ontario. The primary user of this the facility is Faculty of Education, specifically the Pre-service Department and
Graduate Studies in Education and Continuing Education. The Hamilton Campus was officially opened November 2, 2000. It is a fully functioning campus complete with modern computer labs,
an Instructional Resource Centre / Library, gymnasium, large classrooms, full and part-time faculty office space, food services, conference facilities, a board room, and green spaces
within the courtyards and surrounding lawns of the campus.

Brock Entrance Scholars Award
No Application Required
Value: $4,000-$14,000. Awarded to entering students with no previous post-secondary experience. Initial offers are made based on secondary school grades available at the time of
admission. The offers are reviewed when final grades are submitted and will be altered if the final average falls into a new category.
The scholarship values are:
-$16,000 ($4,000 per year) for averages 93.0%+
-$10,000 ($2,500 per year) for averages 90.0 - 92.9%
-$6,000 ($1,500 per year) for averages 85.0% - 89.9%
-$4,000 ($1,000 per year) for averages 80.0% - 84.9%
Awards are renewable if the student maintains an 80% average on a minimum of 4.0 full credits in the Fall/Winter session. Students pursuing a Pass degree will receive a maximum of two

Value: $500. Awarded to entering students who have completed an IB diploma. This award is open to students from all countries and provinces. Students must register for full-time study
